Sentech USB Modem wanted

Been a Mywireless client for years and no real complaints - works for me.
 
I am sure it depends on the type of usage - I have some teenagers doing constant downloading. Am not yet aware of an alternative 10GB service for the price I am paying?
 
They download local as well as overseas - this is the Mywireless classic contract that I have been on for years - 128Mb and 10Gb soft limit for R499.00 per month (excluding modem but including ISP). I here rumours that this product is no longer sold.
 
TvdG, Sentech have stopped all their MyWireless Classic products, and have been trying to get everyone on to their Flexi package, which, is a complete rip-off. After weighing up my options I ended up moving from Sentech.

My advice, is dont waste your money buying another modem, rather just switch to another service.
 
Fair enough - I will switch if they force me to the new Flexi product. Switching however will (again) take me months - changing email addresses etc.
In the meantime I need another modem.

Hmm - I seriously have my bits and bytes and kilo and mega wrong in this message!!!!!! But I am sure all understand.
 
TvdG, If you're in the joburg area, you can borrow my modem untill you do change your service. PM me if you are, and I can arrange to drop it off
 
Thank you all for the friendly offers. I bought a modem yesterday from JAS at a fair price, good as new.
 
I will move from Sentech tomorrow if I can find an alternative. Telkom's ADSL line will take 60 days, they say.
Their new Flexi contract is a complete rip-off. I posted a thread on this and will do a "Letter to the CEO" this evening and post that too. And if I can find another 100 sites to put the same complaint, I will do another 100 letters. I am fedup, fedup, fedup!
So, TvdG if you want my modem, cables, router and the Sentech tower, let me know.
What are my alternatives to Sentech and Telkom? My cellphone?
 
I'm in Randburg - for you the modem is FREE (saves me the trouble of tossing it in the bin) - you will have to collect though.
