Use a parabolic reflector or other kind of directional aerial to aim at one tower. Not sure how effective this is, but it's a hardware-based way to do it, probably the most reliable.

I use it. It works gr8 considering it's something free you can make at home. it improved my signal with around 4-6db. and of course it only focuses on the closest tower now. only crap is that northcliff is the closest tower.!
