Serval - Takealot price tracker (question?)

In my endeavors of navigating through the Serval website, that helps you see the historical prices of items on Takealot, I have noticed something strange (to me).

Im just wondering about the listing price. I would imagine that the graph would start on the date that the item was listed, also meaning that it is the original price before it was discounted. Though for some reason the current price (green line) starts at an earlier date. I wonder why that it is?

Maybe thats the day they added a "List price" rather than just a price, or the day that he added that functionality..

Your best bet would be to ask the developer directly.
