Hi there,

Can anybody please tell me, if Vumatel have installed infrastructure into our complex but haven't physically installed cables into my unit, am I obliged to use them?

Reason I ask is because my request to install has been pending for over 3 months. I've not had any communique from them.

Thanks

It depends on your body corporate. Go speak to one of the trustees.

The short answer is probably a no. They're likely to object to the complex being dug up again.

I'm pretty sure you will have to use Vumatel.

Just mail them with a reference number, they have area representatives. Got mine sorted out in 2 days.

So just an update on this,

I called Vuma AGAIN and then was told, "You should contact BrighLink". Surely it's not my responsibility to contact THEIR subcontractor?

Nevertheless, I managed to get hold of somebody there and have an installation scheduled for Friday morning 8 thirty.

I'm not holding my breath...but let's see
