First learn something about business, because it has nothing to do with IT.
Setup account and invoicing packages, Find reliable accountants, get a lawyer to help you with contracts(employment and company), register for VAT(not turnover tax)
then spend some money on marketing .. and hire some one to do your IT

Anyway on a more serious note. I think you (sonxEr77) need to understand your audience here. A large majority of the guys here are "young" professionals, many are pretty leet (myself not included
). I can guarantee you that the majority of us don't enjoy "feeding the man" with our 9-5 gigs and all have our own ideas on making our OWN money from our skills. That being said starting a thread that basically says "Give me your ideas so I can make money from them" is not going to get the kind of response you are looking for, however good your intentions.From my perspective, this puts you in a catch 22 situation. If you post your own idea for comment you run the risk of someone else taking it, and if you try solicit ideas from others you run the risk of <blink>sarcastic responses</blink>. The fact that you've come here for ideas tells me that you don't have the required innovation and motivation, yet.
On a more philosophical note you are not ever going to be the next facebook or twitter. Opportunities like that don't come around very often and even then it wasn't the "idea" that make the bucks, it was the hard work and motivation behind the scenes.

Decide if you want to start a business and why. List all the reasons why you would want to run a business. Then remove the following, if they are in your list: Money, power to do as you please, less work, more money, more free time, less stress, less work, better work conditions. Do you still like your list of reasons to start a business??? If so:
Start slow. Really slow. If you have a full time job, try to find work outside of working hours. Plan. Do the best possible work to build up your client base, and then pursue it full time when the time is right.
IT is one tough market, you will be competing with people who know more than you; and people who who know less than you but are able to bull**** better than you. Its not about your skills, or services, and there is no magic market that will supply you with endless cash. You need the right skills and the right attitude....
