Settlement at future date

It isn't a huge point in my life tbh - if I do, then great ... If I don't well, I don't

If the car generally sells now at 320k retail, did estimate them to have got 250k or so. I don't seen 200k being unrealistic as a trade. Besides with the Volvo I'd be in the same situation or worse - I know I'd get 100-120k at the same point

I don't think you will see 200k trade in for a 7 year old car :-/

Not entirely unrealistic at all - but we will see then

7 year old A4s are getting about R150-R160k

Ok I think I have it

So end December 2016, I'll owe just under R280,000.00 and the car will have 117,000km and be almost 7 years old. I can't guess what they'll give me as trade - but I'd hope around R200,000

what was your original purchase price excluding on the road fees and other such.

All in all was around 360k - that's all fees, commission etc The car retail should be around 330k for the same year KM on average.

So effectively financing a car at the correct price - as opposed to my Volvo where I was financing a similar value but the car struggled to get a 200k book price now

Six of one and half a dozen of the other
