Setup ISP

Hi all

Does anybody have experience or advise on setting up a ISP.
Basically the company I work for wants to have an inhouse ISP for staff members only.
I have looked at the axxess reseller which seems pretty good so far.

Wise words!!!! Think you will need deep pockets to start off with to compete in the ISP market these days. Pricing drops every few months and if you can't do the same then you will be out the game.

First thing you need is a billing and radius platform (even if you only become a reseller). Running ISP infrastructure is about economies of scale - don't even think about building your own network unless you have at least 1000 users.

We arent looking to compete in the market , just looking to provide cheaper adsl for all our staff members. There wouldnt be any billing or invoices issued, just need to create user accounts and assign cap. +- 250 users
