Hi all
I am away on work and a SGM has just been called.I will not be able to return to attend and it is on a matter I really want to vote.My wife is however at the apartment can she cast the vote? The property is registered solely in my name.
Thx

I am sure we use signed then scanned proxy forms, a lot of our owners are out of town with tenants

Or one of the signing apps on your phone

No, if he is sole owner she would need a proxy form. Residence does not equate to a vote.
Not how mine worked, my wife could vote, but we might have filed in a proxy.

It might be that they were a bit lax and assumed she was a co-owner but technically only owners can vote. A signed proxy form just clears any potential issues with vote validity.

Possibly, it was years ago, can't live in a complex again after all the drama you have to put up with

Depends on your marriage and bond. If she is co-bonded or you are married in community, she can vote in your stead as its about your qr. Anything else would require a proxy to be legally binding but also depends how lax the gb is, they may just have allowed to save hassle but if it was a troublesome vote, it can be raised to invalidate.
