SGS Server BANNING

LOL you guys were probably banned for swearing. :D

99% of all the bans are swearing related on the SGS servers, so if you guys used foul language, i suggest you email the sgs gamesmaster and apologise (this could reduce your ban down to one week) , otherwise, enjoy a nice 30 day ban from the SGS servers ;)
 
Guys having probs with the ban list heres what to do:

1) Log onto an IS game.
2) run the pb_MyGUID script
3) use that GUID to search the ban list.

I found that I was banned for saying p**s.

As an now ex SGS admin I can tell you that the people who admin your game are very much real people, but SGS is a dictatorship and if Elyizum or Amber don't care for you then you won't get any joy out of them.

It is their own personal little fifedom and, trust me, admins do care about you, the player, but they are hamstrung by the SGS rulers.

I spent over a year as an admin for SGS and not once were our concerns about the way the games were run listened to by SGS.

There is an alternative in the making as we speak which should be up and running in the next 10 days or so. http://www.ugsa.co.za

Hack away on SGS, they won't do anything as they havent got the balls to ban you, but don't say ****, **** or **** ;)

what i actually was referring to, my bad for not exactly mentioning them and dictatorship...

...i once killed of Elyizum 's little brat in waterdeep (nwn) and surly knew i did that.
 
I've played on the UGSA servers, and they are quite a bit more "laggy" than SGS.

Good folk on there though, just needs to grow in popularity...
