SGS Servers no longer exist

SGS have been in talks with a new Local Hosting company for a few months now and as of today we are moving all our hardware to this new Company. Details of the Company will be made available shortly. As you are reading this our games servers are been decommissioned and loaded into two public transport vehicles to be transported to the new Local Hosting’s company premises. We have moved 2 of the servers already to the new premises last week and the new Local Hosting company are in the process of setting up a few servers on them. IP addresses of the new servers will be made available on this link at 12h00. This will include a server for Call of Duty 4 and a server for Counter-Strike Source.

Once the hardware has been moved the new Local Hosting Company will be taking over the services in totality. This will mean that SGS will cease to exist once this move has been completed.

We thank you all for your support in SGS over the last few years and we hope by some miracle that the new Local Hosting company are able to achieve at least 1% of what we have done in the next years to follow.

God I hate AF's jokes... its so boring now!

I doubt its a April fools joke. The SGS FTP is offline, the forums are offline as well.

If it is a AF joke, they did a good job

Is it not strange that feed back will be given at 12? I can assume that this is an AF joke. and it is the only thing telkom can get right, messing around its clients, well done Telkom!!! good work *sarcasm*

Telkom stop messing around and go install some adsl lines. You are not impressing your clients with stupid jokes.

Rather not play the ultimate joke and install adsl lines, trust me, people will be a lot more surprised than any other joke you could try pull off.

If it is a joke, they've gone to seriously long lengths to make it 'funny'

Rather just post an official thread saying 'we are shutting down tomorrow', that would be funnier as you get peoples reactions :D

I hope so. But cod4 still rocks soooo many other servers in SA. Thanks Igame and IS
 
all these AF jokes are l4m3....
BTW SGS = SAIX = Telkom thier shares did drop 10%... perhaps cut backs?
