Shaped ADSL account......

Just a quick maybe dumb question but is the shaped 30GB account not able to be used with regards to P2P and that?

SAIX accounts can do P2P, irrespective of the account's size.
During the day, you may experience slow to extremely slow P2P cos other services will be given priority over P2P.

ok....so unshaped is what I want anytime of the day and shaped is what I want, like P2P, in non peak times.

Unshaped will give all your traffic the same priority all the time - F^%$ing expensive at R500 odd for 4gigs

Shaped will give certain trafic priority all the time (Http etc) but speeds will vary depending on the amount of traffic at a given time - Relatively cheaper R300 odd for 30gigs...

If you not gaming, then go for shaped but use either Clipse's NukeCap Freeproxy or MrBeeps OpenWeb Proxy

That way you not paying anymore then you absolutely have to and still get the service you expect.
