Wife, her mother and another lady wants to start a business. Registration of the company has been done, so now they want to open a bank account.

The bank told them they need a "shareholder document" which indicated who owns what share of the business. Is this normal?

Also is it possible to draw this up yourself or would you need an accounting firm to do it?

Get this from CIPRO. Whoever registered the company in the first place, should be able to help you with this. Will probably be a CM29 or a CM22.

Simple one page document. Have you generated a letter head yet, if not, do so.

Simply state on this letter how many shares or share percentage each director/owner holds and sign. Simple as that.

What's funny is, I registered the company, but must have misplaced it :D

They don't have a letterhead yet. I'll make one up and type the letter. Thanks

This will be the share certificate. Use any basic template. This one is quite good http://www.word-formats.com/templates_word/Share-Certificate-Template.gif

Instead of "President, Vice President" etc, delete it and insert "Director". Issue the share certificate to each shareholder, and fill in the blanks and sign.
