sharescan-like program to search network?

i used to have sharescan and netscan to look through and search my network at res... but now for some reason sharescan wont work. when i open it it takes me to the page where you add sources and then freezes.

anyone know of any similar network search utility? im looking for something with a search function, i can use netscan to browse still.

There is one called ipscan. Its freeware. But I think if you google ipscan, you get a different prog from the one I mean. Not at my computer atm, so I can't give you the correct link.

Try netscan... Pretty slow, but it's quite effective
