I want to create a small wireless network for my home and i have one of those Huawei E220's ... Is there a router or switch i can get somewhere that has a usb input so I can share the modem?

Or, should I get a wifi pci card for my desktop and can I use that to share the modem....?

Or iif there is a different method that any of you have successfully used, let me know...

Thanks,

You can also use the Netgear MBR624GU. Digital Planet sells it for around R1100.

Works very well - I bought three, for myself & some friends.

I have used it with the E220 - it's fine.

Yes this can be done via ICS (Internet connection sharing) without the need for a router, Just as long as you know that the pc that is sharing the connection needs to be on and that it will have a smaller wifi range. (you could also go for a usb wifi card...)
