Sharing ADSL

Hallo everyone.
I have finally decided that i want to cause myself a lot of pain and suffering and get adsl from Telkom.
I live in a garden cottage and the people living in the main house also want to get adsl.

So what i would like to know, is the following.

We want to get one Voice land line.
Then get one adsl modem/router and via ethernet both pc's connect to it.
We will each have our own ISP accounts to connect. This is also possible via bridging from what i picked up from other threads.
However, do we both have to pay for the adsl line rental?
IE. do we both have to get "do-broadband"...or just one get that and the other get a bandwidth-only account...
Hope that makes sense.

Or would you recommend we each get our own landline and adsl line seperately?

There'll just be one ADSL line rental that you can split between the 2 of you. So you can either get do broadband etc. and one normal e.g. 3GB account or a stand alone line and two normal accounts.

Option 1 :
One party gets a DoBroadband package (or a similar and cheaper offering from another ISP) and then just purchase your own "bandwidth account" from another ISP and pay the account holder for a bit of the line rental.

Option 2 :
Order the line separately and purchase two ISP accounts. It may cost a bit more but then the line rental is easy to split in half. I'm not sure if the rental portion is actually shown on the DoBroadband type services.

Option 3 :
Both share the DoBroadband account. Not recommended because you always end up with people accusing each other of using more than the other person.

Basically we just want to get costs as low as possible.
So one voice line rental, one adsl line rental, one modem/router and 2 adsl accounts.
