Sharing of bookmarks between browsers

Good day all,
Pretty sure most of us use different browsers for different activities, BUT there is value in having the same bookmarks available across all of the browsers.
Is there a way to do this, like a shared folder somewhere, or do you have to use extensions in the browsers?
And if you have to use extensions, which are recommended?

Worked okay, but now iCloud actually offers bookmark sync between macOS and Windows so no longer needed for me.

But that is for the same browser between systems, I am looking for syncing between different browsers on the same machine
