Agreed. Looks like a new spark and desire to win. Going to put pressure on my margin points against the Bulls and Stormers :( :p

Hell, I am not even sure I will pick the stormers for this weekend.

I am also not too sure I will pick the Bulls for the Sharks vs Bulls game

That's more like it!!! Real pity about those two Aplon tries, but I guess the second one would have probably been scored even if the pass had been legit. He's a slippery customer, that little bugger!

Well done to the Sharks, they were focused and at scrum time you were the better team by a country mile.

I must say though that if the Snail/Frog muncher was not having the game of the season the backline still did not look great.

The Shark forwards were amazing though. hunted as a pack and did all the basics right, showing commitment on defence and keeping it tidy in the loose.

I look forward to the Sharks vs Bulls.

It is a real pity, the Stormers were not at all deserving of a bonus point.

I think that match burst a lot of bubbles in Stormer country. There was much ranting that so few of the Stormers forwards had been invited to the Bok training camp. I think this match put things into perspective.

The Stormers have physically overpowered the likes of the Sharks, Bulls, Highlanders and Reds this season. Kitshoff, Liebenberg, Malherbe and Brok Harris combined to buckle Sharks brothers Bismarck and Jannie du Plessis like they were empty beer cans when the teams met at Newlands at the beginning of March. All four of these Stormers have been overlooked in favour of players they’ve beaten, physically and on the scoreboard, this season.

The Sharks have lost five of 12 matches while the Stormers have only been beaten once this season, and yet the likes of Steven Kitshoff, Frans Malherbe, Siya Kolisi, Rynhardt Elstadt and Dewald Duvenage have been deemed surplus to requirements.

I must say that you are very biased and "hate" the Stormers. The Sharks play 1 good game and all of a sudden they world champions. you are judged over the course over a period of a few months. Its a disgrace the Kolisi and Elstadt have not been named in the squad as they were the best players in the country in their respective positions.

Meyer is digging a grave for himself for not rewarding players that deserve the opportunity. picking an old age home and bulls players that he knows that have not performed well will come back to haunt him.

I hope the Sharks don't make the play-offs to shut you up for good.

Wow, you read that article, quote it and come back with a response that I am biased! ha ha ha

And don't fret, my attitude towards the Stormers pretty much mirrors yours of the Sharks. The Stormers fans this season have been unbearable and seeing their team slowly unravel towards the business end of the tournament fills me with great pleasure. And that is saying something as it is always my desire to have all SA teams do well but I cannot stomach their fans this season.

If you had beaten us we would not have heard the end of it. And believe me I am talking from experience after your scrapped win earlier in the season. You must learn to take as good as you get.

Now in reference to the quoted part of that article. So the Stormers players are given accolades for their ONE performance against the Sharks but all of a sudden one match does not make a player?!?

Yip, that is that annoying attitude of the Stormers fans this year that is peeing me off.

you must be deaf or dumb, which one are you? The Stormers are top of SA franchise and have won 10 out of 12. the sharks have only recently won a few games and you make it if you are a top side. most overrated players. get over it you won't make the play-offs

I am uncertain what my ability to hear would have to do with anything as we are typing on a forum, so I'll need to conclude that you are claiming I am dumb. Fortunately I am fully aware of the degree of my intelligence so I don't feel insulted in the slightest. Your need to stoop to personal insults does indicate a few nerves have been hit though.

The Stormers are top of SA franchise and have won 10 out of 12.

Well done, you must be very proud. I would, however, be more concerned about their apparent inability to create tries and the fact that their performances have been sliding in the last few weeks, culminating in Saturday's loss.

As a Sharks fan that stat fills me with even more pride that one of those two losses was at my team's hands. And it was not a scrape by either, you were dominated. You only got a sniff as a result of an intercept and a forward pass.

the sharks have only recently won a few games and you make it if you are a top side. most overrated players. get over it you won't make the play-offs

My apparent hatred for the Stormers seems to be greatly overshadowed by yours for the Sharks. I understand though, there must be a lot of lingering bitterness at the loss on Saturday.

I don't hate the Sharks. i hate the way you are acting being biased and all. you will notice that i did congratulate the sharks on theor victory which they fully deserved and that we lucky to get a point out of the game.
