I will be contra-indication this week and say something good about the Sharks: great game! Apart from Kaplan losing the plot on a number of occasions it was a good showing by the whole team. McLoed had some urgency, but faltered a bit towards the end (big bird routine was getting a show again). Michelak had some good ideas, which is what I like to see.

I like.

Our centre combination seems to be working well. Pity Jordaan was a bit undecided when he made that break, you would think a sevens player would back himself in stepping a defender.

Another try given against the Sharks that wasn't.

Last week the TMO said that because he couldn't see through McLeod's body that there was no clarity that the player's foot was on the line.

This week the linesman thought he was watching football.

Anyway - nice things to complain about because it doesn't matter too much :)

And that Cheetahs lock that came hurtliing into a ruck towards the end?

ala Butch James... why no yellow/red/white card and citing? All we want is consistency!

Agreed. Extremely dangerous. I cringed for a wee bit. Blew my mind that it went without penalty. Consistency is critical if you want player and public confidence in the ref/game.

Yup, that was shocking. Yet they binned Du Plessis for nothing.

to be fair Bissie had been previously warned about at shoulder charge, but his yellow was completely unjustified... Assistant refs once again making calls too big for their standing, if you are gonna give the touch judges that much power they need to be better trained. But great game and The Sharks move ever forward...

Hopefully the change in rules allowing the telly ref to assist in this will make a difference.

Must say I feel for Bismarck, the call should have been a penalty and a final warning at most.

The Sharks look like a new team and if they can beat the bulls and the stormers they should end second in the SA conf.

Good luck.

Agreed. Looks like a new spark and desire to win. Going to put pressure on my margin points against the Bulls and Stormers :( :p
