Sharks Supporters Thread

With the Currie Cup upon us we will see how the hope and dreams of the management team play out. I am all for a younger side, a side that can grow and develop a bit. Spare us the superstars and imports and work on the younger guys coming through the ranks.

Do you have a team sheet or link? It's been a fairly good first half.

Super Rugby Warm Up Game Tonight - SS1 Live

Thank you, OrbitalDawn :)

A lot of new names in the team for me.

They are getting toward the crunch end of their season and probably don't want to risk injuries. While it isn't going to be bodies on the line stuff, like you say, it does allow for Sharks to try different players and strategies.

Good game rotation players, you all put your hands up well. Feeling slightly better for Superrugby after these 2 games.

Solid outing for the Sharks. Gold's done his preseason homework. The boys are showing good preseason form but more importantly their fitness levels appear to be good too.

Garth April needs to work on his kicking game but he's a nice stepper with a decent turn of pace. Reminds me a lot of Elton Jantjies in both appearance and playing style.

Du Preez brothers look the business.

Pleasure.

Yeah, these guys are good ways to test depth. I just wish the overseas teams would take it more seriously. But they usually play 2nd rate/experimental sides as these games mean nothing for their tournaments.

This is why I can't take this game too seriously, however the Sharks had shown a impressive gameplan. Last year was more or less the same, the Bulls and the Sharks had good warmup games over there with little to show in the Super Rugby. I do wish SA the best, maar dit is tyd om die sokkies op te trek.
