A semi-deserved win for WeePee ..........

IMO, both sides got done in by the lack of any reffing ..... he seemed a bit on the soft cawk side no? Along with dodge decisions and a general lack of some laws. Along with not all the matches being televised, sub standard refs used makes for some stuffing up of the CC.

Also, I have to say, I don't have any faith in this B team of the Sharks ....... not having playmakers in the key positions is gonna lead us to not retaining the Cup this season unfortunately :mad:
 
Nice one WP, adapted better to the conditions. Great game by import - Chris Jack.

Russell was awesome on attack, but lacking in defence (due mostly to his size I think). He was found out. Had to keep moving to different leagues. :rolleyes:

He wasn't always played in the positions he wanted. But hey, that's part of being a pro. I'll never forget that awesome game he had for the Barbarians a few years ago - playing flyhalf. I don't remember him kicking the ball once, but he ran the opposite ragged in the flyhalf channel. I can remember bursting out laughing on a few occasions. I think it was against one of the British unions.
 
its the same with Bobby Skinstad one minute he is a household name and the next big thing and the next moment he is commentating.
 
well that's wrong unless they have an inside source ..... I'll believe we have signed him when he runs out onto the field. Until then, I'll carry on freaking/ranting about our lack of anything at Flyhalf.

We have uncle Strauli and his band of merry men (aka The Admins of the Sharks) stifling depth here ...... so when we lose our 1st stringers, we are *bleeped* :o

No excuses, the bulls lost 8 players to the boks.

Take it like a man:p When you lose you lose. And thats why the CC brings out new stars every year, cause the gaps for the new guys are there:)

Also don't worry to much you guys can have Jake white when the lions are back on form so.....around about 2083
 
Geezuz, you and a few others just can't read hey :rolleyes::) ........ I said that WP deserved the win but I'm not going to deny that we arent fscked when it comes to having quality backup, we don't and it's going to hurt us this season. The current admins haven't been bringing the talent through and when the ytalent does come through, they let them move to other franchises. It's the same with every other franchise except the Bulls ..... they have about 4 teams that would be able to compete because of the wealth of talent.

First you blamed it on the ref then the moon landing then the elves....:)

The reason why the Sharks lost is that WeePee were the better team on the day and our B team is not looking good at all.
