This is true but you can't exactly keep a guy who you have probably paid a fortune for sitting on the bench all season
Agreed.

Pre-season management would have identified a weakness in the pivotal position of flyhalf and gone shopping but for me the Sharks main, if only weakness, seems to be at center.

Would have liked to see Juan get a run at inside center. He's not unfamiliar with that position but failing that Sharks should have been shopping for a great inside center...

I think Swannie is going to be that great inside center tbh ..... there is just something about that guy.

Perhaps, time will tell...

To be frank the Sharks back line is not all that spectacular. Their loose forwards on the other hand are top draw. Tight 5 competent and efficient, Muller and Sykes awesome combo and lots of depth coming off the Sharks bench... but the backs?... mmmm... Stefan legendary, Rory potent powerful little ducker, Dumond improving with every outing but the rest... mmmm...

nice solid line up ... but is Johan the captain this week?

Eish!

What a pity your moment of glory was ruined by the Springbok victory just before. This game was a bit boring after the game this morning.... as embarrassing as it sounds I even dozed off.... it's weird but for this reason the loss did not even bother me. Maybe tomorrow it'll sink in :)

And with the Cheetahs beating Griquas and now the Lions beating the Bulls ;) it is not really too bad for the Sharks anyway....

There you go.... as predicted the Bulls also lost so the Sharks are still second on the table. No worries. Hernandes has had his "get a feel" run and now we are all systems go to get back on top of the table next week.

For the Bulls fans who turned off the TV before the end of the game against the Lions here is the current table :

It was a grim game for the Sharks. Only one team on the field today. Quite sad for me after the gr8 win by the Springboks.

I think there were possibly too many changes to the starting line up. And a few players looked tired or out of touch. Better luck next week.

Just seen that the Sharks are playing Boland in Wellington and the game is not going to be televised! Pity! A real pity!

2 Games within the space of just a few weeks ..... same crud every year

I am quite worried that there hasn't been much time for the players to rest.
