Sharks Supporters Thread

Good win by the Sharks. WP were lucky to get that try.

Lambie played well at 12. I take back what I said.

as a neutral I am just wondering if the sharks are screwing up another player by playing him out of position...

Well played by the Sharks, horrid weather to play in but wcyd :D

@ the witty WeePeer (aka alf) - looks like they can swim huh.

@ Devill - I don't think they are at all, he's young and they needed him at 12, where he's played before. As long as his team mates support around him, he's all gravy.

Awesome work by the boys, but ffs that ref had absolutely no idea how to blow the scrums in those conditions. I've rarely seen a game thwart with is many scrum infringements called and the majority of them proved to be wrong...

We had some serious issues at number 12 since the season began, so I guess they wanted to plug that hole and Lambie was the best fit. I did notice him getting in Michalak's way a couple of times though.

The team played well in poor conditions. Would have been great to see this game with no rain, it was a good battle nonetheless. Michalaks boot is pretty good :D

Kanko's hair is gone :wtf:

I am still wondering what Lambies "position" is... flyhalf or fullback?

I hope that they give him the nr 10 spot as SA needs flyhalves. (Butch I presume will not make another WC after 2011 :p).

Team for tomorrow:

15 Louis Ludik,
14 Odwa Ndungane,
13 Marius Joubert,
12 Meyer Bosman,
11 Sbura Sithole,
10 Fred Michalak,
9 Conrad Hoffmann,
8 Ryan Kankowski,
7 Marcell Coetzee,
6 Jacques Botes (capt),
5 Ross Skeate,
4 Anton Bresler,
3 Wiehahn Herbst,
2 Craig Burden,
1 Dale Chadwick

Replacements:
16 Kyle Cooper,
17 Eugene van Staden,
18 Alistair Hargreaves,
19 Keegan Daniel,
20 Charl McLeod,
21 Adrian Jacobs,
22 Stefan Terblanche

Couple of the guys are getting a deserved rest. Haven't seen too much of Joubert, maybe at 13 he can show us what he's made of. Good to see Sithole and Coetzee getting more games in. Hope the weather stays good so we can spread the ball!

Knowing Durban, the stadium will be practically empty tomorrow. Any of you DBN okes not doing anything tomorrow should come to the game!

Why? Expensive beer, lousy food, same on-field kak that we've been seeing since 1996 and a long walk back to your car.

Maybe I'm getting withered enthusiasm but I would much rather watch from the comfort of my home and not further enrich those greedy pigs at the NRU.

Meh, I enjoy going to the stadium and supporting the team from the stands. Its a 1km walk back home for me, so I'll probably go and punch a hole in the ticket.

Maybe you've done it often enough, but I honestly look forward to my next opportunity when I can put my bum in a bucket seat and go delirious over a game.

But that's me.

Going to Ellis Park in Joburg isn't the same as Kings Park.

I was at the game on Friday and it was frikkin dead. Maybe like 3000 people in the entire stadium and you could sit pretty much anywhere. Upside was the queues for beer were non-existent :p

I expected us to score more tries, and we really had this lackluster look about us. Many, many times we could have scored but we dropped the ball or didn't pass at the right times. It was a win nonetheless.
