Shipping my PC overseas

Checking the complete case in. I have shipped my coffee machine to Gabon and Netherlands as fragile. Still working.

There is another option. Carry-on, but you hand it to the stewardess as you board the plane. They have a special compartment for it. You will have to check with the airline beforehand. They will give you the best options.

Also, I am shipping the PCs in their original packaging. That does help. The one PC was packed last night. Took the 1080 out as I dont trust the weight of it in the Mobi slot. It went into its original box, but still inside the case with bubblewrap.

Will let you know in a month or two how it went.

If you don't mind me asking, can you remember roughly what the calcs and/or quotes came to? I have a mid tower case (quite heavy chassis too, NZXT H440)

I have a strong feeling that I will come to the same conclusion as you, unfortunately.

Came to over R24k... however we chose in the end to stay in SA (a decision I now regret)
