Shipping via USPS: Will I ever get it?

My priority mail parcel has been sitting at the sort facility for 9 days...

Edit: Actually it was "processed through sort facility". They mean it's been sent out?

I bought something off Ebay in the beginning of December, shipped via USPS First Class Mail International. Took 22 days (shipped 6/12, arrived 28/12) to arrive at my post office (according to stamp on customs note), tracking info was only up until it departed a sort facility in Chicago.
