Close to the corner of Alexandra and Jean Avenue in centurion, going past irene we just saw someone in a white Prado (reg BFO ___GP - i didn't memorize the rest but I think it was 94J in the gaps) swerve in front of a guy in a gold Golf slam and slam on the brakes to cause an accident.

But here's where it get ridiculous, as he cause the accident, he nailed his car and bailed. At roughly 5:05 he went back onto the N1 South and made his getaway toward JHB. I lost him after the John Vorster offramp - the guy drove so recklessly he almost caused several accidents in the process. Unfortunately I could not drive fast enough to keep up and to get the rest of the plate.

Please share this on your facebook if you are in Pretoria to your friends so we can get the word out. I'm hoping the guy in the golf got the number plate. I drove back but he already left. I'd like for him to get in contact with me so I can serve witness. Also can anyone do a trace of this plate? This is not a common car, and I'm sure we can find the complete plate if we look at only Prados. Any suggestions?

You'll have to ask very very nicely for someone to run a trace of all those plates.
Generally the cops only pull a specific plate number.

So glad i bought a dashboard camera today, just to be able to nail those bastards who think the road belong to them.

Tell more? Is this a video camera? Link please? Always fantasized about upload clips to You Tube about some of the weird and wonderful driving I encounter most days.

I bought one today because of the following thread i started, where actually the offending party skipped a red robot on the same intersection brendan_e was discussing and before that almost swiped me of the road on the same intersection as the brendan_e is referring to. So i don't care if this thread is derailed. the more people have these devices, hopefully the safer our roads become. Seeing that law enforcement is not being done it is time to do some ourselves with help of technology
