So where's the cheapest place to get a new ps3 slim? (Cape Town)

Looking for a 250gb one.

And is it really worth it to get the 250gb over the 120gb?

Identical consoles, just larger hard drive in the 250GB. You can easily (without voiding warranty) replace the hard drive for a larger one, at a much cheaper price.

That is not bad, although that uncharted 2 one is pretty well priced actually.

The slim 120gb for 3699 is also good and you can then pick a game you like. I am not sure why you would need a 250gb ps3 but as mentioned you can easily add your own drive

You have to do the calcs. Sometimes the 160GB on special + separate Harddrive is cheaper than the 250GB slim. Look for the bundles!

Call CNA, ToyUrUs, Toyzone, Makro, PnP, Game, Dion Wired, Hifi corp and see who has the best bundle on special or 160GB + your own games.

PS: I forgot Woolworths and CNA.

Don't forget Musica. Sometimes they have the best deals on consoles and bundles that last a day or two without advertising them.
 
If it's your first PS3 console, then i would go with the 250gb bundle...it's abut R500 more, but you get a game and the extra 120gb space..definitely worth it...and there's enough great bundles (blu-ray bundle, 2 x movies and remote control), tekken 6, gt5 prologue and killzone 2 i think, unchartered 2....

I bought mine from Hifi corpo over the weekend (2nd one) for R4279 which is a good price...woolworths is also worth the check, they sell it for about the same R4299 and you get a R200 store voucher...
