Not sure about NetfliXBMC, it may be a windows only plugin. But I do believe you can get both Netflix's and Hulu with the paid service PlayOn, which you run on a Windows PC on your network and then can resend to any uPnP client (Tv, Cellphone, RPi/Kodi, etc)

I went even smaller, support Showmax with the widevine plugin.
It's R2k, but includes Windows OS (I have 10 running)

A friend of mine has one of those. It's awesome. Really nice having the keyboard. Not as good as a Harmony if you have multiple devices tho. Still no macros / universal functionality.

Flix2Kodi works on openelec or you can use the chromium browser on its own.

I always thought that was a bit overpowered (and overpriced) for a media device. I'm sure you'll enjoy it tho. What are those going for now days?
 
Got it at cost price through a friend
NUC5-PPYH with 8gb RAM @ R4 150
Going to use old laptop hard drive 320gb - which I have.
 
The issue with the RPi for streaming is that any of the OSes don't do Flash and all the kludges don't work so well either

I have a QM1. It's not very good as it only has 2GB RAM so streaming, once the various plugins and codecs are loaded, is pathetic. I'd say if it had around 4GB it would probably be ok.
 
In that case I guess I'll keep looking. Quite happy with the Pi2-model B personally. But my client wants a win 10 device, with good performance.
