Should I sell my Netbook? :(

but from my understanding, the netbook is built on the atom architecture, ie fixed cpu. This unit has an LGA775 board and CPU, making it, in my mind anyway, a notebook.

Well, to be honest I don't really care about labeling it, I bought it because it was really mobile and almost as small as a crappy Atom netbook, and it beets carrying my 18.4" Notebook around :)

Well, you are right in saying that hardware is cheaper in Australia, but finding something with this spec for what I'm selling, not at all. Already did my research :)

So then you already know that you should keep it !

You are also not going to have time to pfaff around after notebooks when you get there - will be nice to have something that is already set up and working.

Also true, but I figured that I do have my 18.4" to fall back to.

I should actually sell my Giant HP HDX 18.4" Gaming Notebook, but who on earth would buy a R30,000 notebook, lol... I regret spending that money as I never use the freaking thing :(

*cough* You never paid R30k for it :p

Of course you won't - try to find a new pc for the same price as a 2ndhand one. I'm saying you'll have comparatively more money anyway so it won't matter. Get something with Tegra

I'd give you R4k for it :)

Are you sure Packard Bell doesn't have international warranties?

Haven't decided to sell it yet :) And if I do one of my colleagues wants to buy it :) But if I sell it will probably be for R4000.00, as I personally upgraded the hard drive to 320GB 7200RPM.

But nevertheless, here's the specs:

Intel Pentium Core 2 Duo T5750 Processor
 2.00 GHz
667 MHz FSB, 2 MB Cache
 2GB Memory
320 7200RPM GB Hard Drive
 12.1" Brightview Display
 Genuine Windows Vista Ultimate
 Wifi Enabled
INTEL 965 GM Graphics Card Type
 Built in Camera
External Slim ODD Optical DVD Drive
