I have a confession to make: I haven't touched my (relatively new) PS4 in a month.
I'm wondering if this is a sign I should consider just cutting my losses and selling it.
The thing is, even with my PS3 I was never really into the 'average' console games, which I found to be either too violent or too structured. The only exceptions to that were the Rockstar games (e.g. Read Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto), which were that rare combination of fun and unstructured.
The snag is that Rockstar don't make games nearly often enough for me to justify having an entire console just sitting waiting for their next release (I did however buy my PS3 with the sole intention of playing GTA IV lol), and the other PS4 games I've played have been enjoyable for the visual candy but gotten boring (yes - make me run and gun for my life for hours on end and I get bored once the adrenalin dies away).
Anybody know of any reasons to hang onto a PS4? I heard a rumour that Sony's experimentation with Virtual Reality might make an entry on the platform in the future, but again I don't know that there's any point in waiting for that
Thanks for any hints into what the future holds!
