Should Liverpool fire Rafa?

Certainly not now. IMO at the end of the season they must review his situation.

If for example Liverpool finish 4th behind Chelsea and Aston Villa and don't reach the final of the CL than IMO they must very seriously consider his position. Obviously it also depends on who they're going to replace him with. If for example they could get Rijkaard then most certainly send him packing. Problem is LFC could so easily take a step backward if they bring in the wrong guy

Would be a big mistake if we fired him now. Dumb and Dumber would probably bring Bruce Arena in as a replacement.

Rafa has the potential to become one of our greatest ever managers, he just need to get rid of his bad habits.

I think he is a lucky manager.

Win a game in Europe then lose to bottom of the log teams.

Get rid of him at the end of the season.

I dont think you know how *** we were before he came to the club. He has done alot for LFC.
I say let him stay. AT least for one more season.

Agreed. But has he taken the club as far as he can?

One more season? Rafa has had many seasons to show what he is worth. The CL has saved his job a few times.

Must be frustrating for the fans to see Rafa lose so many games when you are in a ''winning'' situation.

Used to almost tear my hair out. Now I've got used to it.

It's a power thing. He earns 'credit' by winning games then uses that credit for example to have a power play with the owners. Then things fall apart. As he's about to get the sack he pulls things around builds more 'credit' only to use it up for some other purpose and around we go......

No. I'd rather they kept a manager who looks to be incapable of winning the Premier League.

Season is not yet over, who knows he might win the champions league again?? Wouldnt fire him if he did that again.

If Pool came away with nothing again, maybe they should consider firing him, but again, maybe not.

Fergie started at man u in 86, and only won the league in 93 - time might be all he needs.

Come on... Lucas was his idea of a bright light for the future. If Lucas is pools future and the fans are happy with that... by all means - let him stay!

It's weird, Mourinho was berated for only winning Premier Leagues and not Champions League titles, and Rafa only does the reverse... i've spoken to a lot of friends who are 'Pool fans who don't care about the CL this season, they just wanna get their hands of the Premier League again.

All managers hit and miss. Remember, Fergie bought Saha, Veron, and that donkey Barthez. Of course, we don't have them anymore :D

They have never had their hands on the Premier league thats the problem.

Ya just joking.

I think its time he goes, liverpool's "almost good enough" performances in the domestic league is becoming a joke now.

The way he's been chopping and changing I'm really surprised they haven't fired him already

rofl Saha was a steal he showed talent but pity he's injure prone... as for Barthez he did quite well until he starting playing around like a monkey - least he was 1000000x better than the Aussie Bosnich!

Saha actually scored some good goals, but as one reporter put it "Good ol' Louis Saha could injure himself stirring a cup of tea". Lol.

As for Bosnich, at least he had an excuse.. He was a cokehead. Barthez was just a moron.
