Should SA move to Level 2, or higher, over the Easter holidays?

If so what restrictions should they implement and which should they avoid?

No, just focus on addressing people not adhering to social distancing and the wearing of masks. Daily on my way to work I see a school bus dropping learners off with not one single person wearing masks. Not any learner or the driver. At the adjacent FET college there's also no adhering to these regulations in the afternoon when the students leave the college en masse.

I think Yes! For two reasons,

As a store that is situated just over the Northern Cape border in Namibia, we get to do a roaring trade with lorry drivers and people that like paddling across rivers in the middle of the night,

AND

I enjoy sipping a nice cold one whilst braaing with my mates on the Namibian bank of the Orange river and stare back at Alexander Bay in South Africa and look on in amazement at how desolate the town looks.....

;) ;)

No. Lockdown was to flatten the curve and give healthcare time to prepare. The curve is flat. Healthcare had a year to prepare.
South Africans are largely non-compliant though and so perhaps some restrictions are in order to encourage optimal behaviour..

I'd rather go to level 2 now and avoid the third wave and level 3.

We all know that Easter weekend will be a f-up.

yes but only because the protest season started on monday and the roads are not safe

[x] Other ... as I am undecided.

What I do know is that until we get the great masses of the people to toe the line, wear their mask, social distance, etc. we will perpetually be doing the merry-go-round with levels of lockdown [and "Doektatorship"].
