How many times do we have to do lockdown before our leaders realise it doesn't work.
They want us to think they're achieving something delaying it... but taxis etc. prevent any delays, it's very contagious, and it makes no difference, and the basic death rate is still very low.

This is political.

And PS, there will be a third wave either way.
Level 2 over Eastern is not going to prevent the inevitable.

It's not necessary unless the cases start rising again.

That sums up how the anc views necessity unfortunately.

What makes you think it doesn't work?

Notice how cases went DOWN under level 2 and 1 compared to level 3.

There are studies that show lockdown severity does not correlate with cases and spread.

Also, only the suburbs were "locked down".

It's not necessary unless the cases start rising again.
But people also need to use common sense and avoid large crowds.

Common sense is seriously in short supply in this country, 98% is on back order ... , delivery date uncertain.

No, we should not move to Level 2. Can we get a move on with the vaccinations please, no more family meetings.

For the sake of the economy, I hope we don't have another lockdown. But just in case now is the time to stock up on whatever vice keeps you sane in these times of madness.

Stop lockdown, let us wear masks and sanitize and get back to some form of normality.
Don't increase the level of our lockdown and prevent us seeing family for a SECOND time in a year over Easter.

Yes

No travelling out of your province.
No gatherings more than 10 people.
Curfews
No alcohol sales after 18:00 for anyone (bottle stores to pubs).
Fark that. We are a family of 4 who never saw family over Easter last year like we had for 13 years prior to this. Let the likes of us go...you're more than welcome to stay home.

All that chart shows is people were going to Churches more often in July and December
Close all Churches, ban the churches
