Shoulder pain while sleeping

my arm goes to sleep in the "recommended position". (while the rest of me lies awake)

I have the same issue with sore shoulders - I'm going to try getting another pillow of the correct height to match the shoulder to head gap (when lying on side) then you don't get the "twisting" of the shoulder due to the neck not being extended...

Or I put the pillow lengthwise or diagonal. Who said that you have to use a pillow in only one position?

OH c'mon that! You must admit that pic looked messed up! lol. It was supposed to be funny. God...nothing worse than mo's who no sense of humour hehehe.

I have always been a side sleeper with my one arm under the pillow(sometimes on my stomach) and started getting pain in my shoulders. Must I just force myself to try and sleep in another position? Basically what worked for you? :(

Put the pillow in your pants?
