Show me free apps...

Mac Apps aren't ported from Windows. This thread is a bit short on specifics. If you're gonna say Mac OS has better free apps, name some examples.

Besides Adium, all my favourite Mac apps are paid -> Coda and Transmit are just plain awesome.

is the mouse utility "teleport" available for Windows? or something similar?

Ps. I know some of the apps have been on Windows. The thing is just that most of the Windows apps look ... well ... no so good, or isn't as elegant.

Also, Synergy. Which is cross-platform, so you can move your mouse from your Mac screen to your PC!

I guess all i wanted to say is that for me it seems that free Windows apps are generally not as polished as macOS apps. I am a sucker for nicely designed software and usually prefer simple applications above Feature Rich ones. Beautiful fonts, good Layout, nice simple but easy to understand icons...

From my experiance, I have come accross quite a few Mac apps that get punted as being free which come with some 14 day trial suprises a few days into use. Or, the older software is "free" and the newer stuff and updates are commercial. Just my experiance. Of course this is not something exclusive to Mac software but it does seem to happen with annoying frequency. Look no further than the Apple Site.

Android has 70% of their apps free, rarely do you find a 14 day trial :)
