Why dont you just install the SDK, no you dont need Eclipse. Just unzip/install the SDK and run ddms.bat in the tools folder. It will bring up a app that allows you to take screen shots as seen below.

I don't get why people love Launcher Pro. It looks totally k*k. There are tons of alternatives. I'm using DX Home.

I'm still happy with TouchWiz, everything I've tried is laggy or seems incomplete.

I agree. DX Home is the only one that works well for me besides TW.
