Show your Android Screenshots!

That is one sexy looking phone there!

TY if you looking for anything
My custom MIUI theme is here
and wallpapers can be found here Also included are some spares I did not use.
Both in my dropbox. Still in process of editing the UI elements and can seperate the icons in another zip if anyone needs.

Can someone please direct me to a website which will tell me step by step on how to load these themes (not sure if that is the right word to use). I can go to google play and download games and apps no problem but when it comes to these ones in the screenshots thread I don't know what I am doing although the app is sitting on my phone.

My phone is a Vodafone 858 Smart so don't know if I am limited to what I can do with it.

I don't think you will get such a site/explanation. Reason for being is that there are so many applications ways of customizing your phone that it will be almost imposible to keep all of it in one place/up to date.

Not to worry it gets easier over time as you will learn what key words apply to your set-up/apps of choice.

Quick breackdown is
  • you get themes for dedicated apps like UCCW, Beautiful Widgets and Android Pro Widgets This is normally the tricky one and depends on the app and what folder/format they use, best is to check the descriptions or actual sites.
  • you get themes for Launchers like ADW, Launcher Pro and Go Launcher Each launcher handels it diffrently but most use themes as normal install applications(APK's)
  • You get themes for ROMs or themed roms, like MIUI. Best source for info is the ROM sites. For example MIUI creates a folder on the SD card called themes and you just copy new ones into it.

Good luck and remember, we all where like WTF way to much info at the start, but you start off slowly.

Thanks man.

I am learning as I go along but.............

I downloaded the app you suggested and when I launched it it wanted me to change colours and what not so I messed with it but I did not get any clocks on my screen at all. I will start looking for the info you have given and see what i can do.

So true the saying is, "You can't make an old dog learn new tricks".

Ok like always, I love your work bud, you inspire me on most of the themes I pull off :)

Just a hint img tags dont like dropbox, just upload to http://imgur.com/ as its easy and the give you a bbcode to copy and paste.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes I realised that DB doesn't work well on the forums, but this only seem to be a problem when posting from my mobile. Will give imgur a try. Thanks again ;)

actually dropbox works great for anything. on your pc in the dropbox folder right click on the pic you wanna share, look for the "share with public" link, then paste that between image tags ie. [ img ] www.db.blahblahblah [ /img ]

Thats exactly what he did, noticed it when I tried to reply to him, and thats when I saw the db link wraped in img tags, anyway like I said I prefer to use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.imgurforandroid as its free and generates BBCodes for you to just paste in Tapatalk so it will look like your doing it from a desk. :)

My current wip called Vintage. Custom made icons and images, using Desktop Visualizer and UCCW. I will probably be replacing the white icons with something more suitable to the theme.

Looks cool but makes me think to much of metro :)

Thanks :p I decided to do it differently instead. This is what I've done so far. Making these tiles is so damn time consuming because I make each tile in about six different sizes, still want to make a couple more when time permits.
