The apparently I use most often can fit in 4 home screens with varying amount of Widgets on them.

But I do find I am starting to group a little bit more.

The latest version of my S3's homescreen:

You've got such a gorgeous screen & then decide on a lacklustre black and light screen theme? Not good enough.

Final score : 3/10. :p

I will most probably get flamed for this, but one of THE most epic home screen wallpapers is actually the blood red Vodacom one.

It looks amazing on the S3 screen.

My home screen currently, isn't at all very original but I just wanted to show how I use folders, and this is generally how I like my home screen, clean with only the bottom row of folders / icons. Sometimes I change the folders to be icons but the launcher I'm currently using doesn't allow that, I'll probably switch back to Nova. Very tempted to flash CM10 as well.

Phone of course then:
Commonly used apps, i.e. Play store, Tapatalk, Gallery, browser etc.
Communication apps, watsapp, Gmail, talk, sms etc.
and then settings/tools apps like titanium backup, root explorer, wifi explorer etc

I don't actually use many apps very frequently, I only currently have 10 apps in my common apps folder.

I really don't get why people waste that precious space at the bottom, why put contacts next to phone when they essentially do the same thing? Why not group sms with watsapp for example? I also don't like tapping menu then group then app. Folder - app, only 2 taps needed for all the apps I use most frequently.

The dedicated search app is also very efficient for those apps that you don't use often, that's if you have a dedicated search button, it seems like Samsung declined to have one so that their phones can be similar to iPhone? I would really miss my dedicated search button.

But what do you do when you have a ton of apps? flicking thru JB widgets menu is painful enough

All the apps I need are on my two home screens. If they are not then I open the app drawer. I just find folders visually un-appealing.

My current screenshot. Hate clutter.

If I was you I would swap Whatsapp and Galary as that yellow icon is breaking the effect :)

See here for example:

I realised that after posting my screenshot. Thanks for pointing it out though.
