I am curious, why do people still lock their phones? To me it seems like just another step. (I can understand a password/pattern for security but not swipe to unlock)

When my screen is off, the only way it comes on again is if I hit the home button or power. If that happens accidentally it is not like it would go into the dialer and call someone while being in your pocket.

It will go into the last active app, and if that was the dialler...

Have you ever tried using your phone with gloves on? The capacitive screen doesn't respond well to clothing... but even if it did I have a habit of always going to the home screen before turning off.

I dare anyone to try and figure out how on earth you set this battery widget up from Lifehacker:

and then share your experience ofcourse :-P I cannot get the text to be horizontal but the percentages must go beneath each other...

I assume you're using the minimalistic text app? So you add a 1x5 widget. Then orientation left to right, and in the layout screen each battery level must be on its own. And then fiddle with text and background settings. And that should be that. I've got a screenshot but I can't figure out how to post it (from my phone) haha

No I was browsing on chrome, tapa too expensive (yes I can be a cheapskate at the strangest of times)

But now I'm trying the mybb app, let's see if this works... The colours I chose are really bad but you get the idea :p

I like it plain and simple. Nothing fancy here.

I wanted something fun and like the idea of being able to interact with objects that appears to be part of the wallpaper.

I used the wallpaper from Laundry Time to make my own.

Home screen (calendar):
http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=40868&d=1361886812
x2 business calendar widgets (tapping on them opens calendar in month view), a batman clock widget and a weather UCCW Skin (widget on the newspaper)

Left screen (camera):
http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=40876&d=1361887025
One text widget in the balloon, tapping on this widget opens the camera app.

Right Screen (flash light):
http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=40926&d=1361945150
One text widget in the balloon, tapping on this widget opens toggles TeslaLED Flashlight app.
Another one on the newspaper opens up Google Currents with the news.
