I posted a random pic of that watch as I like the orange. Had no idea I'd get a hit on this thread. From where did you get them?

I have very big hands so I like big watches, have a few Panerais, a mont blanc and some other very big watches.
I have ordered 2 new ones that should come from overseas next month.

Anybody going to pick up a little something something in the Aliexpress sale? I've never done it before so not sure how the courier set up, customs etc works in ZA on a watch.

What’s worth picking up?
They don’t seem to have any affordable shipping options since Sapo died.
 
I've been looking at the Pagani Design Rolex homage watches (and some of their Omega homages as well) for a while now. Still have my doubts about buying something that looks exactly like a famous luxury watch. Might just get mugged for wearing a cheap Chinese watch. Imagine that!
But the quality is great for the price. Value for money for sure.

When I ordered i chose the R500 fedex shipping

I had to pay an extra R250 in ZA. That was on +- R6000

Ja no look I take the risk of wearing my submariner every day. Not that it bothers me anymore, but I would not put myself at the same risk with one of those.

The R250 was the courier disbursement fee I’m assuming and you had to pay duties on top of that?
 
Where can you get a decent cheapie vintage sized +/- 36mm divers style watch with rotating bezel?

I recently got a great looking Lorus which fits all the criteria but it turns out the bezel doesn’t rotate and considering what it is they aren’t particularly cheap at R1500. It’s supremely irritating because in all other regards it’s near perfect for what I wanted and looks the part but I need a rotating bezel to time things so not having that is a pita.
