Wow that's amazing
It says Swiss Swiss because its the model Swiss Buren is a well known brand that has been around for many yearsIm laughing because it says "Swiss Swiss" at the bottom, instead of "Swiss Made"
I've posted a few pics in the thread, you are welcome to ridicule my bad choices too
@Tman* That's what he thinks is its Chinese lolQuality Chinese watches would call it Swish Swish
What is the model?@Tman* That's what he thinks is its Chinese lol
They sometimes use Swiss movements in their watches and those are the models that normally have the weird Swiss Swiss on the face but they haven't been made them in Switzerland for a long time which is why they play around with the wording to try imply Swiss made but they can't actually say that. What is the model?
I know Buren is a legit brand, but I am unfortunately very suspect about this example

I also have my old GWA2 that I will probably put on the PIF thread soon, as I am kinda over having to charge a timepiece every day

*yes I know it's not really destined for here, but it tells time (when charged).
I also scratched out another watch, a Guess G85746G which IIRC ate batteries like crazy. Ugly looking thing

Does it help if I mention that I don't know where it comes from?Yah that Guess watch I have to admit is ugly AF. What were you thinking?!![]()
I dove into my storage cupboard and found this Swatch SUJM007 (#706) amongst a bunch of boxes.
Needs a new battery, but otherwise it looks good. Anyone know much about them?

I’ve learnt the hard way to never buy Chronographs 2hnd, there’s always something broken on them because of all the complications, even new I don’t want them, skip. Look for a nice vintage basic Citizen Divers watch with no sub dials and just a rotating bezel.I've always wanted an Eco-Drive but Facebook is really tempting me now. Seems to be a CA0340-55E or thereabouts.

Not unless you have a reputable watch maker to open it up and verify it’s legit.Hmmm. Old scuffed up but working Panerai going for a price in the low 5-digits mark.
Worth the risk?
