Anybody else experience the cannot playback the video , because device is rooted?

Previous version of Showmax was fine, but now just kicks me out. Oh well, uninstalling and just sticking with Netflix .

It said my device is also not rooted. I dont have the patience to root my box just to get this to get ShowMax to work, so not going to bother. Showmax certainly know how to piss off people

No you don't want to root your device for this reason. The reason quoted by Showmax and Multichoice is that one of their content licence conditions is that they must prevent piracy and piracy is very often undertaken using a rooted device == block the streaming of content on a rooted device.

Another one. The latest streaming services from Multichoice and SuperSport, fail to detect the version of IE being run on a PC.

The message you get is "this version of IE is not supported, please upgrade to IE 11", even on machines with the latest version of IE 11 on them.
