Hoping someone can help before I fork out more money!

I currently watch all my live sport on Showmax Pro, on my PC sceen (32 inch monitor, 2560 x 1600) but the quality is just not on par with watching DSTV on a normal TV. I have a 100mb/s fibre connection so I doubt thats the issue.

My question is whether it would be worthwhile buying an Apple TV or Android TV box and running Showmax off that?
Would the quality be better?

Any help would appreciated.

ShowMax Pro on a 4K 65 inch TV, via a Shield TV Pro, is good, the Shield does upscaling tho.

TV is always better, than a monitor, the size just makes it so much better. If for use in the bedroom, a 32 inch monitor with an Apple TV or a decent Android box, with a soundbar, can give good results.

As for what resolution ShowMax Pro streams at, not sure, but at my mate's, it is great, with the Shield TV Pro, on a 65 inch Samsung QLED TV. If they had cricket to go with the soccer, I would jump for it in a flash.

Thanks. Appreciate it!

Never watch any streaming service via browsers, rather look if there is an official windows app for it.

Do Shomax offer Rugby as yet? I do not have any interest in their s**tty football, athletics, running, boxing and other s**tty streams.

Thanks, thought so much.

I enjoy soccer, but I want Cricket as well, if I can get Rugby, it is a bonus. If I have to source Cricket somewhere else, then I may as well do the same for Cricket and Rugby, as well. Tho these days, I tend to miss the sport less than I used to, so it is less of a problem, for me.

If DSTV did not come at a ridiculous cost, I'd support them.

Totally agreed.
