The mygica 495x is around R1000. Worth every cent if you add a remote mouse to your purchase.

Are the content also free like on the T95m tv box?
Sorry if its a dumb question im still new to tv boxes.
If i understand correctly the T95m searches the internet for content, shows you a menu of everything available and its free to watch. No payment / subscriptions

You can install Terrarium TV on any android device which does the exact same thing the T95m does.

I think it's better to get the Mi Box, it's simple to use , all these other TV boxes are not nice, they are basically the tablet version of android so you will have to use a mouse to get the most out of them but with Android TV and the Mi Box all is needed is a standard remote as the UI and apps are optimised for TV use
 
Cast Showmax via your cellphone to your TV, connect a pc/laptop to your TV or if you have a PS4 (PlayStation), there is a Showmax app available for download.
 
Bought a sansui smart tv and showmax installed, i can view the content i can even play a preview but when i play a movie it says it could not retrieve the license. Was working fine just before the update a week ago, they say my tv is not supported as their site states, but it was working;( Same thing with dstv now. Live tv works fine some buffing issues. Catchup just hangs. Netflix works with no issues!. Anyone else experiencing this?

Get an older version of Showmax and install it. I could never get Showmax to work on the Sansui
 
What is difference between freeview box and tv box? Ive been searching for the right tv box since we last talked about tv boxes here, I finally found the right one ticking all the boxes for me looks wise and spec wise and ordered it a few days ago. Its a mid range box, the reviews are all good.
Then I saw freeview boxes on the site also and just wondering what a freeview box is supposed to be.
 
does anyone know why the heck does showmax block Chromecast functionality,I have the showmax pro(streaming sports) for my tablet and apparently they blocked it.No other company to my knowledge blocks Chromecast as you not abusing the service. I would understand had they blocked miracast/screen share as that's abusing the service.
