ShowMax

Cancelled dstv, I see showmax allows you to download episodes on to say IOS device like youtube I assume then where I can airplay to the TV.
Im interested in the offline viewing as adsl can be iffy sometimes?
What sort of quality and size are the offline files?

People know I like screenshots. I posted various screenshots earlier in this thread & others about the iOS offline capability...been using it since late Jan when if came out for iOS devices...very handy

My bad, lazy Wednesday.

Thanks.
Installing ios app now for trial.

My android media player (Mygica AXT582) supports airplay from an IOS device... has anyone tested whether the showmax app will stream to this media player?

Im now convinced Showmax is a load of ****, 2 nights in a row I've been having issues with it, it keeps on telling me my Javascript is not enabled. Well let me tell you something, this platform wouldn't recognize Javascript even if it was staring it in the face and yes my JavaScript is active..........Naspers better rethink their platform as currently it is failing terribly!!! NETFLIX much more stable

Could someone explain to me I why cannot cast from iOS. These guys are not on the ball. They make it so difficult to use their service. I have a chromecast and I cannot use it because I am on iOS.

Flippen endless problems on my Samsung Smart TV with Showmax...keeps throwing me out saying my login has expired and I need to log in again. Then every now and then it tells me its lost conn to Showmax (nothing wrong with my internet as I stream other shows), then it tells me I've max'd my number of devices...I only have the TV set up. I have a 2012 Samsung 3D Smart LED TV - UA40ES6400 - it works when it wants to so I know its not the TV...more a service issue I'd say...

I'm sure I've a copy of Friends Season 1 here somewhere on Betamax....apparently should keep most Showmax subscribers happy.
