I was just reading the message from the CEO of IS and he was talking about gaining more bandwidth via satellite... which got me thinking. (Smoke coming from the ears)

We need to get hold of Mark, and get him to invest in some serious bandwidth for SA, bypassing Telkom. Naturally, he will take a cut from the ISP's for his hard earned dollar that he invested in... maybe he can even team up with IS!

Just any idea... who know Mark?

I think that it will cost a lot more than Mark has. Dimension Data (IS's holding company) is worth a lot more than Mark

If you read the article, it costs IS about R8 mil to set up a satelllite link. Im sure Mark just has got a couple of those lying around
