Shuttleworth ruling opens doors: DA

The High Court in Pretoria's decision to declare certain sections of the Currency and Exchanges Act unconstitutional opens a door for a parliamentary review of the country's "antiquated" exchange control system, the DA said on Sunday.

He said the object of the 10 percent “exit charge” had been to limit the adverse consequences of the outflow of funds on the external balance of payments necessary to maintain South Africa’s macro-economic health and to promote financial growth and stability.

I wonder how Lying Mac Maharaj's alledged swiss bank account promote the above?

Is our economy so fragile that it all balances on the assets of some rich people?

I guess so considering that less than 1% is carrying the whole government. They should actually investigate all MP's to see how many of them have offshore accounts.

He brought Billions into the country!
Gov: Good! Milk his previously advantaged ass >D Nkandlaaaa!!!
Mark: This is not on!
Gov: We don't care about the economic benefit your business activities bring the country. You are previously advantaged - You must pay!
Mark: I will leave.
Gov: We must find a way to prevent him from taking all of it away!
Mark: Screw you.
Gov: No screw you. Screw the country. Screw everybody.

Personally I honestly do not give a rat's ass about what Mark does with his money. I do however care that SA is not a good environment for people like him. I care about that very much. It is what really matters in this whole debate. And then people say South African's are too conservative to be entrepreneurs... No - It is too risky to be an entrepreneur here.

Amen brother!

But dont try to explain this to anyone in the government... because remember, we came second to last in the WORLD with our maths education, so ... you might as well try to explain anything with numbers to a rock.
