Or this whole thread is a hoax and part of Fazda's elaborate scheme to convert the whole of MyBB to Subaru... :p

Good luck on this one, sounds like you have one really shady customer there!

I dunno how easy it would make me convert to a car that cost me several hundred thousand and looked like a Toyota inside ;)

im thinking the same thing ...fazda now needs sales and he is recruiting lol

What a waste of time and money. I wonder what his friends think of his choice in cars because if you hold on to a car with that many "problems" you clearly bought the wrong car? (ask me, I'm an Opel underdog).

In an ideal world where karma works it would have been so nice to "arrange" a special trade in for him. Naturally it will be "someone else not at all affiliated with the dealer" that contacts him with a nonsense story of wanting to downgrade to the very car he has and offering him a swap for their car. Unfortunately for this guy the "much better" car will be out of warranty and it will in fact be a dud that continually leaves him at the side of the road. Would not hurt to be of a different brand with perceived higher prestige (old Jag will do nicely).

I learn somethign new about the members here daily

Lol tau1z... so this Rouxenator guy likes opels? I thought he liked VW's.

+1 for buying a subaru from Fazdas dealership next... Never knew dealerships did things like that. I can't even get a courtesy car of any sort out of VW.

Now you can see why I am amazed every time I read of somebody having a crappy experience with a dealership. With us customer is king, and we try and keep them happy at all times. :D

Which old Jag would you recommend?
And can one buy it via Fazda? :D

1982 XJ6 with the J Box - low mileage only 2 litres oil/1000..:D

 I love it when a plan comes together (or a Jag falls apart).

Best of luck with that idiot, and seriously, is he not getting ripped by friends for his "dodgy" car?
I get ripped for my Opels and they have not even let me down yet ;)

He's not getting ripped by friends for his dodgy car, because he's the only one who has a problem with it. The man is actually sick.

99.99% of our customers are brilliant and also rave about how great their cars are - he falls into the 0.01% bracket! ;)

Just for interest sake, what is the cheapest Suburu?

An XV manual is R259000 - but we are running a special on Legacies at the moment and you can drive out in a brand new 2.0 Legacy for R 249 000 - provided you like silver and manual gearbox...:p
