Sick leave

I am contracted to work for a certain person 5 days a month and was sick for 1 of those days, but someone else called me in to help them for 5 days and was present everyday to help them with their work (this is separate work to the contract).

Am I right that I should be paid for the sick leave as at the end of the month I would be missing a day.

Same thing happened in May and got paid also 1 day less, but did not work for anyone else.

Also is it illegal to not pay for some of the kilometers booked at work?

Yes it is, says I can take annual leave or sick leave and if it is more than 1 day I need a doctor's certificate, which I give if it is.

The last time I gave the doctor' certificate, I did not get paid for the day.
