Well, that and the fact that the gvt. sees no problem in allowing anyone and everyone to just waltz across the border into the country. I was checking the numbers the other day and with the influx of Zim refugees alone at the rate they've been coming across latetly, one year equates to more Zim refugees than white people in SA. Granted there were probably more to begin with but if you add it up over a couple of years you can partly see why there's such an explosion of informal settlements.

I know it a tricky and difficult situation but honestly, is literally doing nothing the best solution? It gets me down.
 
Is that where the common or garden SA trailer originated or was it simply an unrelated Mnr. Venter drawing inspiration from an ossewa? :D

Unfortunately we will never accept an incompetent government like we have now.
They simply do not cut it.
The only person worth his salt in the present government is Trevor Manuel.

Mboweni also did a great job. I hope you said Manuel because of his great job he did during the past 15 years and not his skin color.

Skin color (American?) has nothing to do with it.
Trevor is undoubtedly the best finance minister this country ever had.
He is extremely competent.
To my knowledge Trevor is of mixed blood. I do not know.

It is not the colour of your skin that makes the difference. It is the man or woman inside that skin that makes the difference.

Funny that you mentioned Tito.
I used to work with him at the justice department years ago.
I guess he did not do to badly either.
Slightly out of the public eye though.
He could have given us a 2 % rate cut last time round.
I guess he is not so brave or bold after all.
