I just looked at my coverage map they have done an update from being excelllent it is now just good  (even though i had a full 5 bars at the end of January without an external anntenna) obviously from my feedback no doubt and without an external anntenna its far from good.
So basically what it boils down to is there coverage map is a estimated guess and only when the potential customer buys the device thinking its in an excellent coverage area it maywell not be since they probably havent set foot in the area

I have the same issue as you, was Excellent and Fine speeds , now slow and degraded,

The coverage map says GOOD when used to be EXCELLENT,

This is the same thing Iburst did to me, when the towers were overloaded.

I think this falls under the category of "breach of contract"

They can't offer you X and then when you sign for X, you get X then start to get Y and think it's acceptable.

If a base station gets overloaded... well, good... BUILD A FEW MORE DAMN IT!

I asked for a formal email to be sent to my Neotel email adress, on why my coverage has been changed from EXCELLENT, to GOOD, seeing that I would never have signed a contract on GOOD, this was a PM at 14:00 12/03/2009.

It's now 20:54 on the 12/03/2009 and still no reply.

Gdiza - Go do your "Patience" somewhere else.

RSSID - 96 "ok" - Enough said, since 5 February 2009, with phone and with Antenna 101 to 106, 2 different techs.

Please Explain.

I see that mine has gone from "good" to "fair" suddenly.

I would not have signed up for "fair".

Hi all,

I will highlight this thread to the relevant persons and get some feedback ASAP.

@DJNgoma & nukem: your location & Neotel service number would appreciated please.

Mine used to be Excellent coverage and now it says I'm not covered.

Can still connect and browse although at 1/3 to 1/2 speed I used to before February and the introduction of NeoFlex.

Still get 4 bars on my phone!

I wonder if the introduction of NeoFlex led to this sudden degradation that everyone is experiencing?

B.

Mine went from excellent to no coverage - location: Bowling avenue, wendywood

WTF, the exact spot of mine has also no coverage now whereas when I moved there with the Neotel service it was 'Good'. This is now getting ridiculous.

I agree, had the same issue with Iburst, in the pre launch, had great speeds, after the launch they changed a tower and took me out of the coverage zone, Got the contract cancelled, and to this day dont have coverage.

I sent you a pm when you requested it from me about 1 week ago(just checked my outbox) i have also called the call center since Feb at least once a week i dont know what to say at this point really....

@ nukem:

My PM box had in excess of 500 messages and I had to delete some messages...I would appreciate you sending them again if you do not mind.

Apologies for the inconvenience.
